Programs

	Meetings are held on the 4th Monday of the month (3rd Monday in Nov-Dec) at UNM Continuing Education building, 1634 University NE at Indian School. Meetings are open to the public; non-members will be charged a $5 fee for attending meetings which have a guest speaker.
	Workshops are designed for everyone, regardless of quilting level or experience. Fee for members is $40, non-members $60. Classes are held at CNM Montoya Campus, Bldg J Room 124. Set-up begins at 8:30 AM, class lecture starts at 9:00 AM. Workshop Sign Up Form

August 2008	Sunday, August 24 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Workshop	Donna Radner will show how to turn simply-pieced tops into folk art gems.
	Monday, August 25 7:00 PM Guild Meeting	Guest Speaker Donna Radner is a well known quilter and teacher from Washington DC, whose amazing designs are surprisingly easy to assemble. She'll describe her journey from traditional to art quilter.
September 2008	Monday, September 22 9:30 AM Guild Meeting	State Fair Quilts
October 2008	Sunday, October 26 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Workshop	Rachel Clark will teach fast piecing, folding, appliqué and embellishment techniques for constructing quilts or wearable art with flair.
	Monday, October 27 7:00 PM Guild Meeting	Guest Speaker Rachel Clark will present a fashion show of her latest pieced wearables.
November 2008	Monday, November 17 9:30 AM Guild Meeting	Guest Speakers Audrey Waite and Dee Lynn will present "From The Directors' Point of View," a humorous reflection on their 14 years of directing Quilt Camp in the Pines. The presentation will be followed by a Community Service Work Day. Please bring your sewing machine and lunch.
